What a delight to work with Scotland Street Press and get an insight into their literary world through this web design project. Founded on the proceeds of Jean Findlay's biography of C.K. Scott-Moncrieff, the translator who brought Proust into the English-speaking world, Scotland Street Press are a unique historic Edinburgh publishing house with a focus on unheard and under-heard voices in the literary world, with categories such as Womens Voices, Translations and Scottish Voices being key parts of their catalogue. They also work with a lot of wonderful artists, one of the reasons it has been a joy to work with their content and bring it to life. They commissioned me to design their new e-commerce website, complete with a lively journal section and events page, as well as a treasure-trove of content about their authors, artists and translators.
